What an AI That Remembers You Actually Does

Inside FeelAI Memory: the eight things it stores, the four ways it learns, the line under every affirmation that says why, and the rules that stop it from inventing you.

“AI that remembers you” is easy to say and hard to mean. Here is what it means in FeelScape, concretely enough that you could check it against the app.

The eight things it stores

FeelAI’s memory of you is a small, readable profile. Five fields come from you:

  • Values: family, growth, authenticity, health, and so on. You pick from suggestions or write your own.
  • Goals: reduce anxiety, build confidence, sleep better.
  • Known stressors: work deadlines, social situations, money, health worries.
  • Traits: creative, analytical, empathetic.
  • Coping strategies: walks, journaling, calling someone.

Three fields it learns:

  • What has helped: strategies that showed up before a mood lifted.
  • Known patterns: “tense evenings after long meeting days.”
  • Known triggers: “Sunday nights.”

All eight are visible under Settings, in a section literally titled “This is how FeelAI sees you.” You can add, edit or delete any entry, or clear the lot.

The four ways it learns

Three questions. When you start Premium, FeelAI asks what you value, what you are working on, and what tends to stress you out. Thirty seconds, and it already has more to go on than a quote library ever will.

Your notes. Log a mood with a line like “presentation tomorrow, barely slept” and the note goes into the prompt for that check-in. The affirmations you get back mention it.

Your replies. When FeelAI checks in and you answer, it extracts at most two insights from what you wrote: a strategy that helped, a trigger you named, progress on a goal. It only keeps what you clearly said; “I’m fine” produces nothing.

Pattern review. Every few days, after a mood entry, FeelAI re-reads your last two weeks: the timeline, the frequencies, your notes. It proposes up to three additions to your memory, each with a confidence score and a reason, and it is told to be conservative. You accept or reject each one. Nothing lands in the “learned” fields without going through you or your own words.

What it does with the memory

Every Premium check-in returns ten affirmations written with the full profile, your note, and your mood pattern over the last one to two weeks in view. The instruction to the model is that each one “could only have been written for them.”

Then there is the part we are proudest of. Under each affirmation is a short line, at most twelve words, saying what shaped it: because you said mornings have been the hardest part. The line has to reference something actually present in your note, memory or pattern. If nothing specific applied, it stays empty. You can always tell the difference between being known and being flattered.

Memory also decides when you hear from FeelAI. Check-ins are limited to one a day and timed to shortly before the hour your own logged moods tend to dip. And once a month, on your own 30-day cycle, it writes you a letter: two or three paragraphs, under 180 words, quoting your own words where it helps. Everyone gets a letter; the Premium letter also draws on your memory and your replies.

What it is not allowed to do

FeelAI runs under a written constitution, and the memory section is the strictest part.

  • Never invented. Inference is permitted; fabrication is not. Every specific must trace to something you recorded.
  • Never hostage. Cancel Premium and your memory stays. It is never degraded or withheld to bring you back.
  • Never shared. Nothing traceable to you crosses to another user, to training, or to internal tools.
  • Never a lever. Engagement, opens and subscription conversion are explicitly forbidden as things it may optimize for. If it notices you depending on it, it steps back.

Why this is the whole product

The app’s stated goal is that you feel accurately known over time. Not advised, not motivated, not kept busy. Known. Memory is the mechanism, and the “written for you” line is the proof. Log “anxious” on day one and FeelAI has three answers to work with. Log it in month six and it has your Sundays, your sister, your walks, and the reason the interview mattered.

If you want to see the day-one version, the anxious affirmations page is the library edition. The Memory page shows the month-six version. The difference is what Premium is for.
